Potato Fry


Ingredients:
Regular Potatoes/Baby Potatoes - 6 to 7 (Medium Sizes)
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp.
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp.
Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp.
Salt - According To Taste
Vegetable Oil - As Required.

Method:

Peel the skin off the potatoes and wash thoroughly.Chop it into medium pieces and set it aside.

Heat a pan with some vegetable oil and add the chopped potatoes and stir well.

Then add some turmeric powder,red chilli powder and salt and mix it well.

Let it cook till the potatoes are fully-cooked and crispy.Stir frequently to avoid
getting burned or sticking to the pan.

Now add some black pepper powder and mix it well.

Check for seasoning.If needed,you may be add some salt and black pepper powder.

Remove from the fire and serve it with mango rice,lemon rice,tamarind rice,sambar rice,
rasam rice or curd rice.

Tips:

1)Soak the chopped potatoes in lukewarm water to avoid discoloration.

2)Always use non-stick pan/skillet to fry potatoes,karunaikilangu,
   cheppankillangu,etc. to avoid sticking to the pan.
