Ingredients:
Cabbage - 2 Cups (Shredded)
Green Peas - 1/2 Cup (Frozen)
Onion - 1 (Large - Finely Chopped)
Green Chillies - 2 (Minced)
Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp.
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp.
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp.
Urad Dal - 1/2 tsp.
Curry Leaves - Few
Coriander Leaves - Few
Salt - To Taste
Oil - 2 tbsp.
Method :
Wash the cabbage nicely in lukewarm water and shred it finely.Keep it aside.
Heat a pan with 2 tbsp. of oil and add mustard seeds and let it crack.
Then add cumin seeds,urad dal and curry leaves and fry for 2 seconds.
Add the finely chopped onions,minced green chillies and a pinch of salt
and saute till the onions are transculent.
Now add the shredded cabbage and frozen green peas,black pepper powder,
salt and sprinkle some water.Cover and cook until the moisture evaporates and
the cabbage is tender.
Check for the seasoning.Remove from the heat and garnish with some coriander
leaves.
Serve it with rice.
