Ingredients:
Raw Chicken - 700 gms
For Marinade :
Curd - 1/2 Kg
Ginger-garlic Paste - 1 tsp.
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp.
Salt - 1 tsp.
For Gravy:
Butter - 100 gms
Tomato Puree - 1/2 Kg
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Sugar - 1/2 tsp.
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp.
Salt - To Taste
To Prepare Chicken:
Fresh Cream - 100 gms
Butter - 75 gms
Green Chillies - 4 (Sliced)
Kasturi Methi Leaves - 1/2 tsp.
Method:
For the marinade,mix the red chilli powder,ginger-garlic paste,curd
and salt.Marinade is now ready.
Now mix the raw chicken with the marinade and store it in the fridge
overnight.
Then roast the marinated chicken in a preheated oven (350 degree
fahrenheit) for about 5 to 10 mins till it is 3/4 done.
For the gravy,heat the butter in a pan and cumin seeds,tomato puree,
sugar,red chilli powder and salt.Mix it well.
Now add the prepared chicken,butter,fresh cream,sliced green chillies
and kasturi methi leaves.
Cook till the chicken is done.
Butter chicken is now ready to be served.
Serve it hot with naan.
