Ingredients:
Wheat Bread - 10 Slices
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Ginger - Small Piece
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp.
Green Chillies - 2
Roasted Peanuts - 1/4 Cup
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp.
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp.
Cilantro/Coriander Leaves - Few (For Garnishing)
Salt - To Taste
Oil - 1 tbsp.
Method:
Cube the wheat bread including the crusts (use day old wheat
bread).
Heat oil in a pan and season with mustard seeds and let it pop.
Then add peanuts/groundnuts and fry for a minute.
Now add chopped onions,chillies,ginger and fry till they are
tansculent.
Add tomatoes,turmeric powder and salt and cook till the
tomatoes are soft.
Mix in the bread cubes gently and cook till everything is incorporated.
Mix in the lemon juice and stir it well.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve it hot.
