Spicy Prawns


A flavoursome dish that's suitable for any occasion.


Ingredients:
Prawns/Shrimp - 1 to 2 Lbs
Onions - 2 (Medium)
Tomatoes - 4 (Small)
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp.
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp.
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp.
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp.
Ginger-garlic Paste - 2 tsp.
Coriander Leaves - Few (To Garnish)
Salt - 2 tsp. or as per taste
Oil - 3 tbsp.

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and dry red chillies.

When it splutters,add chopped onions and saute it till the onions
become golden brown.

Then add chopped tomatoes and let it cook till it is soft.

Now add the prawns/shrimp and saute for 5 mins.

Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 5 more minutes.

Then add red chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder
and salt to taste and stir it well.

Add 1/2 glass of water and mix well.Allow it to cook till the water is
evaporated and the oil separates from the dish.

Check for the seasoning.Adjust if neccessary.Remove from the stove
and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.

Delicious spicy prawns is now ready.Serve it hot with plain rice or
sambar rice or rasam rice or curd rice.
