Onion Thokku

Ingredients:
Onions - 2 (Large)
Whole Red Chillies - 15
Tamarind - 1 Lemon Size Piece
Mustard Seeds - 2 tsp.
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp.
Oil - 4 tbsp.
Salt - 1 tsp. or as per taste

Method:

Peel and chop the onions.Grind them with whole red chillies and  tamarind.
Add as little water as possible.Heat a pan with oil and season with mustard
and let it crack.
 
Then add some tumeric powder and enough salt.Mix it well.Add the ground
paste and stir frequently.Allow it to cook till the oil floats on top.
 
Onion thokku is now ready.Enjoy it with any dish of your choice.

Note : Store the thokku in the refrigerator for upto a week.
